Wassim Benzarti is a lawyer at the Paris Bar practicing in Morocco specializing in business law

Wassim Benzarti is a graduate of the HEC Paris Grande Ecole programme and also studied law and international taxation at the University of Paris II-Assas, after specialising in legal and tax strategy at HEC Paris.

He heads the Rabat office.

He practised at the Hauts de Seine Bar before joining the Paris Bar in 2020.

After working for several years as a lawyer at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in France, he advised a leading industrial group in the phosphates sector (OCP) on a number of large-scale transactions in Morocco and abroad.

Mr Benzarti is registered with the Paris Bar as a lawyer authorised to handle personal data under the RGPD (European Data Protection Regulation). This authorisation enables Mr Benzarti to be appointed as Data Protection Officer for various companies. In this capacity, he ensures that these companies comply with the RGPD and carries out independent audits to certify these companies. The resources placed under Mr Benzarti’s supervision benefit from this authorisation.

Mr Benzarti is also a graduate in management and project management from HEC Paris, ranked as the best management school in France and the 2nd best school in Europe by the Financial Times in 2022.

He also holds a certificate in Project Management from the University of California.
